❋ Getting to VenturaLAX Airport: 1-1.5 Hours to Ventura this will likely be the best option for those flying in. You may rent a car from the airport or take the Ventura County Airporter Shuttle. Once in Ventura, uber is very easy.
SBA Airport: 35-40 minutes to Ventura. This is the most peaceful airport, but is limited with flights. You’ll likely need to rent a car if flying into Santa Barbara.
Amtrak: We are conveniently located a few minute walk from Amtrak Ventura Beach/Downtown Station.
❋ Where to StayCrowne Plaza Ventura Beach by IHG: Located on the beach, a 7 minute walk from our studio and 4 minute walk from Amtrak Downtown Beach Station.

❋ Things to DoSurf: Ventura is world-renowned for its surfing. You can rent a board from Ventura Surf Shop.
Beach Bathe: We have miles of coast line to rest, relax, and get some D3. Surfer’s Point, Solimar, or Pierepont are all great options.
Movies: Century 10 Downtown Theatre
Hiking: Arroyo Verde Park
Shopping: Downtown has one of shops and thrift stores or you can find big box stores at Pacific View Mall.
Ventura Harbor: Visit the Channel Islands, rent a kayak, join a whale watching tour, just check out the seals.

Food: We have something for everyone - here are few student favorites: Surfer’s Point Cafe, Paradise pantry, Jaguar Moon, Eric Ericsson’s Fish Co
Ojai/Carpinteria/Santa Barbara: We’re a short drive to many other cute towns with a lot going on from live music to art events.
